Assalamualaikum
Warohmatullahi Wabarokatuh,
Hallo guys
Hallo guys
Previously I
had time to discuss the event that we will hold on Thursday, December 5, 2019
at the Wayan Bendhi Poltekpar Makassar Hall. In preparing for the Celebes
Traditional Culinary Fest event, we arranged an organizational structure to
determine the supervisor who would handle all the interests of the event.
And this
time I was given responsibility as a decoration supervisor. Therefore, a few
days before the event was held, my friends and I prepared everything needed for
decoration, such as decoration, billboards, cloths, traditional clothes,
traditional sarong, bamboo frames, etc. Fyi, the Celebes Traditional Culinary
Fest event is an event with the theme of Sulawesi. As the name implies, we
decided the concept of this event to look more traditional, ranging from menus,
decorations, to music typical of South Sulawesi.
Two
days before the event was held we were more focused on preparing packaging,
hall decorations, product trials, etc. The decoration process is carried out
for two days in order to get maximum results.
And on
Wednesday we focus on the kitchen to make all types of products. Oh yes, in this
event we divided our menus into 3 categories, namely Blue Code for Snacks, such
as Maros Bread, Barongko, Lopis, Klappertart, Cantik Manis, Sesame Onde, Tetu,
Banana Ball, Choux, Lumpia, Songkolo, Crepes, and Pawa Asin. Next is the White
Code for Drinking, such as Pearl Brown Sugar, Hard Ice, Iced Banana Ice, and
Fried Ice Cream. And finally the Red Code for Main Course, such as Konro Bakar,
Sushi, Pizza, Udon and Kebab. Although there are several modern menus, but we
still give the typical taste of Sulawesi or commonly known as Fushion Food.
To
handle the menus we formed 12 groups. And my group was tasked with handling
Maros Bread with Srikaya jam and Choux Au Craqueline jams with Cream Cheese,
Chocolate and Green Tea flavors.
After that,
we together brought the equipment and equipment needed to the hall, and checked
again whether there was still something needed for our event.
On
Thursday we all arrive early, at 04.00 to finish all products. Furthermore, we
bring all products to the hall to be set up at each designated stall. And at
10:00 our event began, beginning with the report of the committee chair's
activities and remarks from Pudir II. After that, all visitors are welcome to
enjoy the meal.
Fyi, taking
food is done by exchanging tickets in accordance with the colors listed. So
everyone has the right to get 1 Red Code, 1 White Code and 2 Blue Code. In
addition, we also provide Chocolate Fountain such as Watermelon, Madeleine, and
Onde-Laughter, and Coffee, Tea and Mineral Water for free. We also give free
Paper Plates, Paper Glass, and Stickers to every visitor during the
registration process. And one of the interesting things about our event is not
using plastic in order to support the Save Plastic movement.
All visitors
said that our concept is good and the taste of our menus is good. Our results
cannot be separated from our great teamwork. And not felt, today is our last
practice at Kitchen. I just want to say thankyou so much for all of my
lecturers and my friends, I'll miss our togetherness in the Kitchen. You guys
are amazing team forever. And this blog is also the last blog during my study
at Poltekpar Makassar. Sorry if there has been a word or writing error and see
you at another time. See yaaa ...
WE ARE AMAZING TEAM
